Skiing and snowboarding are lots of fun, however if you do not pay attention to the rules below, you could hurt yourself or those around you. The rules are part of what is known as the Alpine Responsibility Code.

  • Stay in control.
  • Take lessons.
  • When you overtake give way to the person you are passing.
  • Do not stop on a run where you can't be seen from above or if you block the run.
  • Look uphill when you start.
  • Sit still on chairlifts. Do not muck around!
  • Obey all signs and warnings.
  • Ride on a chairlift with an adult if you are little.
  • Do not go in the snow if you are on medication.
  • Alert Ski Patrol if there is an accident.

Remember to follow these simples rules and everyone will have a great time. For more information on how to "Stay Safe in the Snow" you can also visit;
